(Except Allah), My head never down bow
In life-battle-field, I’m a fearless hero….
Life is more dramatic than drama.
(Except Allah), My head never down bow
In life-battle-field, I’m a fearless hero….
I passed my SSC or Matriculation with first division with star marks from Jessore Education Board in 1995. In 1997, I also passed my HSC with first division with distinction from Jessore Education Board. In 1998, I got the opportunity to get admission in English Honours at B, L College, Khulna.
Due to the severe financial situation of my family, my Honours studies were stopped. I moved to Dhaka in late 2000 in search of a job. Being unable to arrange any kind of job, I returned to my birthplace, Khulna, in mid-2001. After coming to Khulna, I took the entire responsibility of the family on my shoulders. I started a small grocery shop. But due to capital crisis, that too was about to close. At that time, our financial situation was at its worst. I could not buy meat once a month. Not even fish. The condition of the place where I lived was also in such a bad state. I was afraid to see clouds in the sky; because a lot of water would fall from the roof of the house. In this situation, to save my life, I married a girl near my house in 2003 with a small amount of dowry. After marriage, by the will of God, a dramatic change began to take place in my life.
After marriage, I was appointed as an eighth grade English teacher in a coaching center near my house. By that time, I had passed my Degree (B, A Pass Course) as a private student and had also completed my B.Ed. As I earned a good reputation as a teacher in that coaching center, I was promoted and appointed as an SSC-level English teacher. At this stage, I had the first taste of earning money in my life.
I was earning a good amount of money from coaching and private batch. I made a huge change in the condition of my house. I paved the yard and verandah. I built a paved bathroom. At that time, I was working hard and earning money. A friend of mine, considering my talent and hard work, advised me to go to the capital, Dhaka, to earn more money. As per his advice, I moved to the Demra area of the capital, Dhaka. And started working as an English teacher in a school there. By the grace of Allah, at this stage, the highest income of my life started coming. I was able to gain a wide reputation as an English teacher in my school and the surrounding area of the school. At that time, I got the opportunity to use luxury goods for the first time in my life.
However, this happiness and prosperity of mine, could not be tolerated by me or some of my close relatives in my in-laws’ house. Mainly due to their bad advice and, as my parents had reached very old age and there was no one to take care of them, I returned to Khulna.
Every time I have been a victim of conspiracy in my life, every time I have been cheated by people, Allah has helped me. Alhamdulillah.
After coming to Khulna, I got a job as an English teacher in a very big and renowned school in Khulna, Navy Anchorage English Version School. Getting a job in such a renowned school, was like a dream for me.

I started working very hard for my school. The school authorities kept me as a member in almost all the committees. I performed all the responsibilities with great efficiency and sincerity. I fell under the good-eye of my principal. I became very dear and trusted by the principal. At that time, the principal gave me a special responsibility. When he was not in school, he gave me the responsibility of secretly monitoring other teachers to see if they were neglecting their duties. This benefited the school a lot, but in this incident, many senior teachers became my enemies. In such a situation, the principal was transferred to Chittagong.
Actually the senior teachers directed the new principal against me and made my working life miserable.
In such a situation, I considered self-respect more important than money and voluntarily left the job. I was the first teacher of Navy Anchorage English Version School to be given a grand farewell by the school authorities.
During my school service, I started a kindergarten school in partnership with a close relative from my in-laws’ side, that is, he was the husband of my wife’s sister’s daughter. I quit my job and took over as the Principal of that kindergarten school. The condition of the partnership of the kindergarten school was that – talent and labor are mine, and money is his. Dividends – fifty-fifty.
But I did not know that he was a fraud. When the school was fairly established, he suddenly stopped giving money. He said – “You invest, whatever dividends come in the next 10 years, all of them are yours.”

He made such a declaration in front of all the teachers in the open meeting. I mortgaged my land, took a loan from the bank, and invested heavily in the school. I converted the school from kindergarten to Junior High School. The education system of my school was of very high quality. The children studied very happily and learned to read Bengali and English very quickly. Within the next two years, by the grace of God, dividends started coming. My fraud partner now started showing his face. First, applying various methods, he took my wife by the hand. Then he directly asked me for an account. I was devastated when my wife took his side. I realized that I had fallen into a very big trap. I divorced my wife, dropped out of school, and moved to Dhaka. My wife, taking our children with her, went to Dhaka and apologized to me, saying that she realized her mistake and would never make such a mistake again in her life.

I gave her a condition – I have to sell all the land in Khulna and settle in Dhaka. When she agreed to it, I gave my partner a written account of my investment of 3.6 million taka in the school. Because of his not returning a single taka to me, I had to sell 400 points/4 shotok of my land on Ansar Uddin Road at a low price. I repaid the bank loan and moved to Dhaka with my family.
When the land sale announcement was made in Khulna, the talks about selling the land were finalized with a government official. At this time, my wife said – I have to sell the land to her relative, that is, my cheating partner who cheated me in the school. She started a huge argument with me over this and left the house with my children in the middle of the night to jump under a train and die. I was helpless and had to accept at last.
The price of the land was fixed at 5.2 million taka. My ex-partner gave me 1 milion taka as the security money/”Baynapotro” of the land. The remaining money would be paid within the next four months, and then the land would be registered. But the fraudster-monafek never keeps his word. It has been almost a year and a half instead of four months, he has not registered the land. I too am sitting in Dhaka and cannot do anything other than spending the saved money. At this stage, my wife started talking on his behalf again. Since, killing people is forbidden in Islam, I divorced my wife again, switched off my mobile, and went to Mymensingh on the sly.
Meanwhile, my partner and my wife’s sister, who had shown all the greed and lust towards my wife, stopped all the greed and lust they had shown to my wife and took possession of my land without registering the land.
My wife and children were completely lost as it were fallen in water. They started spending their days in extreme financial crisis. Now her disillusionment was broken. Now she saw their true nature and started looking for me to rescue the land. Finally, miraculously, she found me in Mymensingh. By now, I had started working as an English teacher in a school in Mymensingh.
My relatives all came together and asked me to forgive my wife and accept her back, considering the issue of the children and the recovery of the and. I said – she should promise by touching the Holy Quran and by writing on a stamp that she will never be unfaithful to me again.
My wife did so. Then the struggle to recover the land began. With the special help of Allah, I was able to recover the land.
In this situation, I could not enter into any new job. I am now learning Freelancing. My aim is to teach spoken English online and if I can earn money by freelancing, I will be able to establish a school with my own money, Inshallah.
I seek prayers from those who have patiently read the story of my life’s ups and downs so far. Please pray that by the grace of Allah, I can complete the unfinished tasks of my life before breathing my last, Amen.
